2024-2025 Annual Title I Parent Meeting Notification

Farwell Timberland Alternative Education is proud to partner with your student's education. As a guardian, we know that you play a vital part ni helping your student ot succeed academically. For that reason, the staff at Farwell Timberland Alternative Education is extending an invitation to you to attend the Title I Parent Meeting to learn about the requirements of Title I and your right to be involved. During the Title I Parent Meeting, we will participate in the following activities and address the following topics:
- Farwell Timberland Alternative Education's involvement in the Title I program
- Understanding Title I program requirements and the connections to our MICIP plan
- Collaborative review, discussion, and updates of the Parent and Family Engagement Plan
- Review of the Parental Involvement Policy and the School-Parent Compact
- Familiarization with our curriculum, assessments, and proficiency level expectations
- Strategies to support your student's reading and math skills
- Techniques to stay well-informed about your student's academic progress
-Opportunities for volunteering and active participation in your student's education
As a parent, you have the right to participate in your student's educational activities. The team at Farwell Timberland Alternative Education encourages your involvement because this meeting provides an opportunity for you to share your feedback. To ensure accessibility for al guardians, we are organizing this meeting at the time/date below, but are also willing to meet virtually, by phone, or even face-to-face individually fi a more convenient time/date/location is needed. Call for a to set a time/date/location that works for you. Please also note, in the event you are unable to attend the Annual Title IParent Meeting, information provided at the annual meeting wil be made available on our website and other involvement opportunities wil also be available. Also, interpretation and translation can be provided fi needed; please contact in advance and we wil ensure proper arrangements are made.
