From the Athletic Department:
Farwell Bowling and Athletics have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the Farwell, Clare, and JPC community. The amount of businesses and community members that have offered fundraisers and various equipment has not gone unnoticed. Our athletes lost a home at Gateway Lanes that they will never forget. This being said, we will not be accepting anymore donations. We believe that we have raised enough to offset the increased travel costs and are extremely grateful. Our athletes were lucky enough to not lose any equipment in the fire and we do not want to accept more than what we have lost.
Thank you to everyone again for their generosity and as always "Go Eagles"!

Congratulations to the December Students of the Month!

Farwell Cross Country will be hosting a food pantry drive for Good Samaritans Ministry. The directors of this ministry are Ken and Marilyn Vandrick, who graciously allowed us to use their property to host JPC #1. Ken and Marilyn’s ministry provides non perishable food for kids and families in need of extra support. They also offer free academic tutoring services to students. Good Samaritans Ministry is located in downtown Farwell. Donations may be taken to the FHS library.
Thank you for your support in our effort.

Reminder! The Blood Drive is being held on Monday, October 23rd. Schedule an appointment if you are interested!

Our high schoolers participated in their first annual Winter Athletics/Activities Day! They met coaches/advisors and they are excited to participate in their next seasons!

Once in a High School career can you experience a HOME cross-country meet, be sure to mark your calendars...Wednesday, September 20th at Pleasant Meadows on M 115.
Farwell Cross Country will be hosting a home meet next week. Ken and Marilyn Vandrick of Good Samaritan Ministry and Pleasant Meadows Golf Course have graciously allowed us to use their beautiful property. If you have never experienced the excitement and positive energy of a cross country meet, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE! Bring out your younger children that may have future passions for running and allow them to catch the running bug. The cross team would love all the support they can get from the community, the student body and fellow athletic teams. The varsity girls team will run first at 4:30pm, followed by varsity boys at 5:00pm and middle school at 5:30pm.
If you have an interest in volunteering your help during these time frames, please reach out to sbell@farwellschools.net. It takes a small army to successfully run a cross country meet, we will be able to put you to work!
