First Grade with Mrs. Travis

Mrs. Michelle Travis is one of our first grade teachers at Farwell Elementary School. This is her 21st year teaching altogether. Mrs. Travis knew she wanted to be a teacher when she was in second grade. She had an amazing student teacher and wanted to be just like her. Her favorite part of working at Farwell so far has been interacting with students every single day with an amazing staff. She is really looking forward to watching these students grow because it is always so amazing to see how far they come each year. If Mrs. Travis could be any animal, she would be a koala. That way, she would get to live in Australia and see all of the amazing sights! She would also be able to spend a lot of time eating and sleeping, which she enjoys. Mrs. Travis believes that the first topping on top of the sauce when making a pizza should be pepperoni.
