Farwell Elementary School has blasted off the school year with Ms. Carncross as principal!
Ms. Carncross is in her 21st year of working at Farwell Area Schools. She started as a high school special education teacher for 9 years, then taught as a middle school science teacher for 8 years. After that she worked as elementary school stem teacher for 3 years, and is now on her first year as elementary school principal. When asked what she looked forward to most this year, she said for the elementary school to start doing their musicals again under the direction of new music teacher Ms. James! Her favorite part of this school year, so far, was when one of the 1st graders gave her a hug and told Ms. Carncross that she was so proud of her.
