Our FHS Quiz Bowl Team attended the JPC Spring Tournament in Gladwin on Saturday, March 8th. All teams answered tough questions. Our JV team consisting of Eli Sherman and Justin Coburn won two matches and took 2nd overall. Congratulations to our Quiz Bowl Team!
Look who stopped by on Friday, March 7th to visit our second graders. Our students got to read about Smokey Bear and how to prevent wildfires. Smokey Bear and Jason from the DNR stopped by to tell us how Smokey got his name.
We had some Elementary students that Completed Finn's Mission Hands-Only CPR Training in the American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge last month! They had a basketball shoot party at the end of the school day on Friday, March 7th! Those student included:

Awesome job Farwell Elementary Students! You raised over $2,200 for the American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge last month! You have helped kids your age have healthy hearts from the donations you collected. The top 3 students who collected the most donations were Leonardo Walters from Mrs. Pitchford's class who collected $250. Sofia Bell from Mrs. Loomis's class who collected $277. Lillian Bell from Mrs. Swarthout's class who collected a whopping $386. Jump ropes, t-shirts, basketballs, and other post-event prizes will be arriving and delivered after spring break. Way to go Farwell Elementary Students!

Residency must be within the Farwell Schools District boundary OR be attending Farwell Area Schools.
