Dear FAS Families,This is a reminder that Thursday, Oct 26 is half day for students with a 12 pm Noon dismissal, and students do not have school on Friday, Oct 27. The purpose is for Parent Teacher Conferences. We look forward to seeing you at your student’s conference. Conferences run from that Thursday, Oct 26 12:30-3:30 & 4:30-7:15. Please check with your student’s school office and or teacher for available times.Also, do not forget that Tuesday, Oct 31 is also a half day with a 12 pm Noon Dismissal for Halloween.Thank You and Go Eagles!

On Friday Farwell Elementary had a great turn out for students supporting the Michigan vs Michigan State game.

Farwell High School's Connections that Count went on a field trip October 16th to the Wild Pumpkin and had such a great time. They enjoyed homemade doughnuts and a hay ride.

Farwell Elementary Book Fair is next Week! October 16th-20th and will be open before and after school 7:45-8:15am 3-3:30pm . It will also be open during the school day for students who bring money or have an eWallet. The eWallet is an EASY and SAFE option for parents to digitally send money for kids to use at the book fair! We highly encourage it!
Farwell Cross Country will be hosting a food pantry drive for Good Samaritans Ministry. The directors of this ministry are Ken and Marilyn Vandrick, who graciously allowed us to use their property to host JPC #1. Ken and Marilyn’s ministry provides non perishable food for kids and families in need of extra support. They also offer free academic tutoring services to students. Good Samaritans Ministry is located in downtown Farwell. Donations may be taken to the FHS library.

Dear FAS Family,
We are sorry to inform you that Nicholas Cebulski an FHS teacher died suddenly on Saturday, 10/7/23 from what appears to be natural causes.
Our Critical Incident Response Plan has been activated to maintain a safe and calm environment at school. Our emphasis at school will be to assist our students and staff in expressing their grief appropriately. Our counseling staff and the Critical Incident Response Team will also be available for assistance. We will do our best to help our student express their emotions and encourage them to be kind to themselves.
Funeral and Visitation information will be shared out as it becomes available. Resources for addressing grief and loss are available on our website.
As a parent, we encourage you to talk with your children about this tragedy. Allow them to express their feelings and concerns. Reaffirm your love for them and reassure them that you are willing to listen to their fears and problems.
