FMS Track Breaks Eleven School Records

The Farwell Middle School Boys and Girls Track Teams had excellent performances this season from several athletes breaking eleven school records. The boys broke eight records including five iindividual event records and three relay records. The girls broke three individual event records. The FMS track individuals that broke records are as follows:

Jenna Hamming (2 records) - Long Jump and 200 M Dash
McKenzie Garver (1 record) - Pole Vault
Boys Records
Keegan Rohdy (6 records) - 70 M Dash, 100 M Dash, 200 M Dash, 400 M Dash, Member of 400 M Relay and 800 M Relay Teams
Trevor Staley (2 records) - Pole Vault and Member of 3200 M Relay Team
Luke Schultz (2 records) - Member of 800 M Relay and 3200 M Relay Teams

Fifth Grade Farwell Middle School Student Tamra Mackie’s art work will be part of the 2010 Art Reach Calendar. Tamra’s is one of thirteen students who art was chosen for the 2010 calendar. All thirteen pieces of art will be displayed at Art Reach in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan from September 2nd until October 3rd. Great job Tamra!
